Leeds agree deal to sign Wilson on a free transfer

Latest from Your Site' Zinny Boswell:

Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Harry Wilson on a free transfer.

The Wales forward is set to leave Fulham when his contract expires at the end of the month.

Aston Villa and Everton were among the other clubs interested in the 29-year-old.

Leeds tried to sign Wilson on Deadline Day last summer only for the move to collapse at the last minute.

As well as Wilson, Leeds have been exploring a move for Julian Brandt, who is set to leave Borussia Dortmund as a free agent at the end of the month.

Leeds are also in talks with Southampton for midfielder Shea Charles after their initial 20m offer was deemed too low by the Championship club.

Schroeder joins Real in "most expensive women's transfer"

Latest from Your Site News' Amar Mehta:

Sweden international Felicia Schroeder has joined Real Madrid in a deal her former club say is the "most expensive transfer" in women's football.

The 19-year-old has signed a four year deal with the Spanish club and joins from Swedish club BK Hacken, where she scored 91 goals in 128 games.

In 2025, Lizbeth Ovalle became the most expensive signing in women's football history when she joined Orlando Pride from Tigres UANL in a deal with 1.1m.

While the exact fee for Schroeder's move to Madrid is not confirmed, Hacken said on X: "The 19-year-old is leaving BK Hcken in the most expensive transfer ever in women's football. The forward is moving to Real Madrid in the Spanish top flight."

The previous transfer record was set in 2025, when Grace Geyoro joined London City Lionesses from Paris Saint-Germain for 1.4m.
